These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Moodhook, including the Chrome extension, the moodhook.ai board, local board tools, capture tools, export tools, account features, and optional Moody AI features. By using Moodhook, you agree to these Terms.
Use of Moodhook
- You may use Moodhook to collect, organize, analyze, and export visual references for lawful creative research and production work.
- You are responsible for the content you upload, capture, import, store, export, or share through Moodhook.
- You must use Moodhook only in compliance with applicable laws, website terms, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and platform policies.
- You may not use Moodhook to collect sensitive personal information without permission, bypass access controls, distribute malware, infringe rights, harass others, or operate the service in a way that harms Moodhook or other users.
Your content
You keep ownership of images, notes, boards, and other content you create or import into Moodhook, subject to any rights held by the original content owner. You grant Moodhook the limited permission needed to store, display, process, sync, back up, export, and analyze that content solely to provide and improve Moodhook's user-facing features.
Third-party content and websites
Moodhook can help you save references from websites, but Moodhook does not give you ownership of third-party content. You are responsible for confirming that your capture, storage, use, export, sharing, and publication of any third-party material is allowed. Third-party websites, services, image sources, AI providers, and browser platforms are governed by their own terms and policies.
Accounts and local data
Some features may work locally without an account. If you sign in or use cloud features, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Local browser storage, exported backups, and imported files are under your control; deleting browser data, uninstalling the extension, replacing a backup, or using destructive controls may remove content.
Moody AI and generated output
Moody AI may provide summaries, critique, tags, directions, or other suggestions based on the board context you choose to provide. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your final use. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in client work.
Early access and changes
Moodhook may be offered as an early access product. Features may change, break, be limited, or be discontinued. Moodhook may add, remove, modify, suspend, or restrict features to maintain the service, improve the product, comply with law, or protect users.
Fees
Unless a paid plan or purchase flow says otherwise, early access Moodhook features are provided without a paid subscription. Any future paid features, renewal terms, cancellation terms, taxes, refunds, or plan limits will be disclosed before purchase.
Intellectual property
Moodhook's name, branding, interface, software, documentation, and product design are owned by Moodhook or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Moodhook's intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse Moodhook except as allowed by law or by written permission.
Disclaimers
Moodhook is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moodhook disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation. Moodhook does not guarantee that boards, captures, backups, sync, exports, AI features, or third-party integrations will always work or preserve every item.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moodhook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or substitute services arising from your use of Moodhook. Where liability cannot be excluded, Moodhook's liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Moodhook in the three months before the claim or 100 USD.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Moodhook harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Moodhook, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights, except where prohibited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Moodhook's operating entity, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws require otherwise. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact Moodhook through the official support channel so both sides can try to resolve the issue informally.
Termination
You may stop using Moodhook at any time. Moodhook may suspend or terminate access to account or cloud features if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, or if required by law or platform policy. Local extension data may remain in your browser until you remove it.
Updates to these Terms
Moodhook may update these Terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different notice or consent process.
